   Local Police Report 5th March 2013     5 March, 2013

Police report for One Voice Meeting 5th March 2013 by Sgt John Spowage

                                                    Local Information

Substantial reductions in reported crime around Stallingborough Industrial Estate reduced reported losses of  £79000 in October to £1775 in February and £5 in the last month! Intelligence gathering by the NPT with the assistance of our Special Constabulary colleagues has led to offenders being arrested recently before they could actually commit the crimes for which they had travelled to the area. Residents are still encouraged to be vigilant in relation to vehicles – particularly Vans – that appear out of place.

Local Priorities & Action Taken

February Priorities
Immingham

Recent successes in this approach have led to a reduction of the number of prolific offenders active in the Immingham area.
Reports of Anti Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage in the Weston Grove/Winslow Drive area  and Jasmine Way area, continue to be  a concern to local officers and this area continues to benefit from increased patrols and deployment of extra CCTV resources.
A recent enquiry into break ins to domestic garages and sheds on allotments has led to the arrest and charging of a local man. Investigations continue and the Police are in possession of several items believed to have been stolen in such offences. Residents are encouraged to contact Immingham Police Station if they have been subject of such an offence and have property outstanding.
Stallingborough
