Junior Wardens Day:

The Mayor welcomed the junior wardens to the civic centre to help create even more floral beds. Working with their Community Wardens, John Moran and Mick Upcraft the children from the Canon Peter Hall Junior Warden Scheme have created two beautiful raised beds at the front of the Civic Centre. This area is fast becoming a real centrepiece to the town and is making a huge difference.

The Mayor gave the children lunch at the centre and Stallingborough Garden Centre kindly donated the plants.

The Mayor said its been brilliant working with the children. They did all this in half a day and its a credit to them. The Town Council now plans to keep the beds in good order and the children will install winter bedding later on in the year.
