Redevelopment of the Civic Centre to form a Community Hub
It's exciting times at the Civic Centre, on the 1st Jaunary 2016 work started on the building to convert the Civic Centre into a Community Hub. The building work is expected to take until June to be completed. When the project is finished the community hub is hoping to house multi agencies used by residents within the town. The Library will be part of the new build along with Grimsby Institute, North East Lincolnshire Council, the local Police, the Care Group and Food Larder. The aim of the Community Hub is to provide a one stop for residents.

The Immingham Town Council & Shoreline, telephone and office enquiries are now based at the front of the building in the foyer (Monday - Friday) & North East Lincolnshire Council, housing benefit & council tax enquires are based in the back of the Library. (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
